P3 maize trials harvested at Fochville

On 25 June, a Pannar P3 yellow and white maize trial was harvested on Awie McGill’s farm in the Fochville region and celebrated with a delicious braai.

The standout performers were PAN 6P-984PW in the yellow maize category and PAN 5R-523R in the white maize category. Pannar representative Stephan le Roux also got stuck in and helped with the harvest.

After a long day of data collection, the fresh wors rolls were definitely well deserved. 

Pannar Preferred Product (P3) Trials 

These are statistical strip trials to test new pipeline products at field scale under typical farm management and environmental conditions. These products are compared to Pannar’s current commercial and competitor products. P3 trial results serve as a final test of each product’s suitability for a specific region before widespread launch, ensuring their success.
